Secret Waves
Loquai brings a deep house gem to PTR with Secret Waves. Washed out stabs, conga driven house groove, sexy bassline and emoting pads are the order of the day here. Perfect for the warm-up portion of your sets. First remix comes to us from Luke Warren. Luke darkens things up and gets a bit tougher. Cutting a path directly to the late night floors. Jackin percussive elements and retro synth lines really make this mix chug along at a healthy clip. Next up on remix duties is Nick Lewis who give us two interpretations. First up is Nick's Ambient Mix. This is a wonderful after the clubs track. Full on chilltastic. A very original interpretation with good use of original elements and plenty of new, inspired elements. Nick's second mix is a brilliant produced interpretation. Wonderfully reminiscent of William Orbit and FSOL's early work with a very modern twist. Wonderfully used square waves and 303 emulation run throughout, giving the mix a bouncy, airy house feel. Real aces here! Final remix is by Steve McGrath. Steve slows things down a touch and gives us a galloping progressive house gem. Pads feeding back create a beautiful atmosphere throughout the track. Definitely one of those types tracks when you drop it everyone will lose their mind. Brilliant!
