Thanks to our wonderful fans and family we were able to record this album through Kickstarter contributions.

Call Me The Captain was recorded in August of 2015 by Jason Groves at Sneak Attack Recording Co. in Lexington, KY with all the album artwork created by Josh Flowers and band photographs were taken by Kim Blackburn Photography.

Pulse had been playing all 6 songs live for a couple years and figured they needed proper recordings. The writing was handled by all 3 members both collectively and independently.

This album is influenced by bands like Queens of the Stone Age, Black Sabbath, and The Toadies. Imagine the blues inspired metal of Black Sabbath mixed with Toadies bass lines and tongue-in-cheek cynicism of Josh Homme and you'll have a pretty good idea of what Pulse sounds like.
