Kicked Up Keyboard Classics
The music interest started at age 6 with playing a simple melody on the piano, after hearing a recording. At age 8, piano lessons were studied from grade school; continued through high school and college. Drum/percussion studies started at age 9 and vocal studies were started at age 10. At the end of five years of college studies, a Bachelor of Music Degree in Performance/Pedagogy was received in the percussion area. Since graduation of college, many opportunities of performing on piano, keyboard, drum and voice have taken place.
Currently, keyboard accompaniment is done at Unity Church Centre in Girard, Ohio during the Sunday morning services. Music instruction in piano, keyboard, drums and voice are done at Daybreak Music in Cortland and privately in the home. Drum and keyboard performances are with "Power of Praise" Christian Rock Band and the Girard Community Concert/Dixie/Dance Bands.
