"Oversoul; the spirit that motivates and inspires all living things" ...and this is what the band plans to do. In early 2010, vocalist Alexa Villa and guitarist Ryan Villa, began their journey toward their big dreams in the small town of Vista, California. Since then, Oversoul has been busy writing and recording at Golden Track studios and devoting their time to rehearsing for their live shows at the Whiskey in Hollywood, Soma in San Diego, and the Warped Tour, to name a few. Once their five song EP was completed they hooked up with their Manager Adam Trahan of Serendipity Entertainment in Beverly Hills who has continued to propel the band forward. Oversoul considers themselves to be a rock band with an alternative influence and have been compared to Paramore, Amy Lee and Flyleaf. They plan to change that with their heavier guitars and edgier vocals. Oversoul hopes to gain clout throughout the music industry with their unique sound, passion and confidence. With high aspirations this band plans to fullfil their dreams of doing what they love for the remainder of their lives.
