Fits of Hail has turned many a corner. Fits of Hail began as a recording project by Chris Anderson after the birth of his third child, Owen. The band has included Thane Padilla and Tasha Riggins from the infamous and short-lived Sally Go Round the Sun, Allen Gresham and Erik Luther from the Platitudes, The Stupendous Brian from Albuquerque, 2 basses, guitar, lap steel, keyboards, found objects made into percussion instruments, and a drum machine. The current line up has slimmed down to Chris, a guitar, mandolin, and a loop pedal. The tunes tend to be folky, but oddly so. Its as if you listened to Jeff Buckley, Chavez, and Palace Songs simultaneously while watching tv. The songs are short but full of stuff. Give it a try!
