I have been a student of American Roots music since my childhood. Priamarily bluegrass and a large portion of delta blues and old time stringband music. I grew up with a variety of Swedish music genres from the ancient fiddle tunes to Abba via Taube, Bellman, Wreeswijk, Psalmboken etc. I have spent time in various places around the world including Japan, Russia, North Africa and most of Europe always listening and trying the learn about the sounds. For lack of a better term - world music has been a big part of my life. I have played bluegrass music professionally for 30 years but along the way I have stayed open minded about the idea of understanding new sounds as well as new people. Music being a great cultural index I think we can get a lot of knowledge about the people from their respective folk music forms.
In the last several years my interest in writing music with the help of music editing programs have sky-rocketed and now it is mthe main focus of my musical life. For the music I have used Finale 2012
