Jennifer and Hazel were 16 when they recorded Dancing Fingers their first album.
They are daughters of the Orkney Tradition. The Orkney Strathspey and Reel Society encouraged their early playing. Influences from Peerie Willie Johnson's guitar, Tom Anderson's fiddle, and Orcadian Billy Peace's piano playing can be heard in a style that has sparked back and forth between the twins over the years to create an Orcadian sound in which can be heard Irish, American, and Jazz influences.
