Dr. Kwesi Amoa, a college professor, started the HBCU fund out of his frustration that hard working students, with decent grades, often struggled to pay for college. He created the HBCU fund so that individuals through their collective efforts could help support a young person's dream of obtaining a Bachelors Degree.
