Kicking Up the Clouds
Having joined forces in Boulder, Colorado, Todd Redmond and Christopher Smith, the songwriters behind the moniker Crowboy, have polished their brand of Americana to a raw and expressive sheen. Drawing from country, folk, and rock & roll roots, the multi-instrumentalist duo has created songs with soulful harmonies and unforgettable melodies. Since releasing their first album, “Making Up for Lost Time” in 2008, Crowboy has performed extensively throughout the Rocky Mountain region, both as a full band and a duo. Their latest EP, "Kicking Up the Clouds," comes out ahead of their Scotland tour.
Praise for "Making Up For Lost Time"
“You can feel the swagger in the steady rhythms and speedy solos on this album, as Todd Redmond and Christopher Smith invoke the golden age of country-Western music. With equal nods to Waylon Jennings and Johnny Cash, the songs relate tales of crimes committed, drinks imbibed and muddy roads traveled. It's the perfect country formula.”
