
Joy Bach
Joy's love of music began at an early age, but was simply an interest until recently. The youngest of seven, Joy was surrounded by music. Each sibling played the piano and one other instrument (clarinet). Joy continued on to musical theater and transitioned her professional career into recording national commercials, singing opposite Broadway leads, project work with Hal Leonard Publishing and philanthropic causes.
Motivated by a personal project that challenged her to try something new every week, Joy wrote her first song, "J'ai Cherche" a few years ago. The project, "A Year's Journey", taught her the beauty and art of collaboration, as the focus evolved from the actual task, into learning about the person behind the task.
This collaborative spirit carried over into her first self-titled EP. Lyrics and simple melodies were turned over to the genius of extraordinary artists such as Chicago's own Peter Hennes, Emmy Award winning guitarist Peter Baime, world-renowned acoustic guitarist Willy Porter and lege
