The single Sama is part of the Morusa project which is a two album project: the first is Morusa biela and second is Morusa cierna. Across the two albums the music and lyrics cover much ground. Musically the first album is more acoustic. The line up of cello, violin/viola, accordion, clarinet/bass clarinet, marimba, cimbalom, piano, plus rhythm section and male vocal quartet lends itself to folk and classical music of the area of central europe, as well as more contemporary composition. The 2nd album brings in more electronics, longer form pieces, improvisations, and experimentation (will be released in 2014). Lyrically is very varied, but a theme is returned to again and again.... that of the illusion of nostalgia, the blinkered eye of the past, the uncertainty of the future, the growth of the urban uber-connected world at the expense of the somewhat introverted insular rural communities, the diluting of small traditional communities by the march of technology and need for "growth" or status...
