Hello friends!

On this CD, much of the music was written when I was quite young (it released when I was fifteen), and every song has a story behind it. Since I've played piano for thirteen years, I must admit that's had an influence on the way I write music. All of my songs tend to be very piano-driven, but I love to incorporate many different instruments whenever I have the chance. I take my rather unconventional yet classical background and mesh it with the distinctive style of my quirky personality and bold voice to create a sound both unique and unusual. I've been described as contemporary with the occasional flair of jazz, pop, and blues.

The first song on my CD, "Once Upon a Heartbeat," I wrote one night as I was praying in the darkness of my bedroom, listening to my sister's faint little breaths.
