Clef Doom
Tommy Stewart's Clef Doom is an experimental album in search of "what if". This album is doom metal and atmospheric, but what's notable is that it's a transition album for an artist and mostly pieces of ideas strapped together with a a spacey feel. This was recorded using drums, bass, and vocals only. Many of the songs were re-recorded for the Tommy Stewart's Dyerwulf Project. Technical note: It was recorded in analog through two Tascam MKii cassette recorders and then finalized through 16 channels of a Tascam DP24SD thus the overall very warm sound. Much of what sounds like synthesizers are not, they are multiple layered basses. For example, in the 14 minute "Stars Flee in Pain" there are 8 basses added as the [piece moves along and are in 4 part harmony by the end. So if you're looking for something that is clearly unique and unusual, not for everybody, you've found it.
