For our 8th release we are very proud to bring a new 4 track EP from Elton D. This one slows it down and funks it up so to all of our headbangin followers sorry in advance.

Elton is known for his bangin funky techno tracks but for this release he has opted to slow down the groove and offer a treat for the funkiest house heads.

The tittle track "Respect the Deejays" serves up some sexy grooves that will certainly get the girlies giving it up on the floor. Tight rolling bass with a ghostly female vocal mixed around a nice flute loop stab that peaks into a speech by DJ Emile. At the time, Emile was one of the legendary Bombshelter DJs alongside his partners ZTrip & Radar. The speech was captured live as he was explaining to the audience what the Bombshelter raves were all about. "The Whole thing is based on RESPECT. Respect for the music, Respect to the Deejays, Respect to the crowd and Respect to one another." The Bombshelter raves were legendary parties in the USA that showcased some of the biggest DJs from all genres. Some have used this sample already, but CTR decided to stick to the meaning of message and got permission from Emile to use it. This message is something the new generation of kids need to realize, and some of the old school heads need to remember.

The remaining 3 tracks are all bump n grind booty bizness as well. Elton is no slouch whether it's House or Techno he is creating. We hope you enjoy this fine piece of Audio Art as much as we do.
