Johnny died in July 2009. This album was made in 2002 and is a great example of his work. Johnny worked on the British Folkscene for around 50 years, he had a fabulous bass voice and great ear for a good song. This selection was mostly recently written and most have wonderful choruses put together by a great bunch of great singers.
