Authentic Sounds Vol I was a compilation recorded in 1998 by Kingdom Beat Recordings (which is now Shantytown). This album features 6 California bands that play Jamaican musical styles ranging from Jamaican Ska to Roots Reggae. What sets this compilation apart from the rest is that everyone of these bands not only play great music but their lyrics reflect their spiritual faith as well.
