Epic was an adjective usually applied to productions seen on the big screen before the mighty Columbia label created a subsidiary of that name in 1953. This fabulous collection certainly lives up to its 'Epic' description and reflects the eclectic mix of music released in the US in those heady post-Elvis, pre-Beatles days. Enjoy!
