Alex Frolov hits a trance jackpot with his new EP One Way Back. The young russian delivers a fantastic package of speedy melodic trance with catchy themes and floating atmospheres in both tracks. The first track, One Way Back, has a more upfront vibe with a long lead playing the main theme. The development is highly uplifting towards the end. The second track, Waiting For Sunlight Evening, is a bit more meditative with its immersive arpeggio accompaniment and nocturnal pluck theme, which evolves to a sonorous lead theme towards the end, carried by a delicious chord progression.
