He has many identities in the music industry for more than 30 years: he used to be a rock band singer, then owner of a music label, now a manager of livehouse. As a musician, JF Lee has been inspired by tape loops and interested in genres such as ambient, meditation and field recordings in recent years. JF Lee's music has ranged from ambient, abstract textures to low-fidelity white noise sound scenes and micro-sound beats. All of his sets are unique, which as products of complex environments. JF Lee explores the multiple possibilities of the dialectic between simplicity and complexity from the changes in identity and environment.
